Shipping policy


Shipping

We can ship most items to any address in the lower 48 states.  Shipping Dangerous Goods or HAZMAT outside of the lower 48 states is possible but may be expensive. If you want to ship outside of the US lower 48 states then please contact us by email or phone at 281-447-7200.  International shipments are available for shipping in full containers and LCL but do require special handling by our sales associates.


Shipping Methods

Orders placed on our website are shipped via UPS, USPS or LTL freight from our warehouse and retail store in Houston, TX. Other locations may be used to ship direct to the customer.  All orders are shipped CIF (cost, insurance and freight) meaning that the product is sold at the shipping location with freight and insurance paid.  Please note that some HAZMAT items may not eligible for all types of insurance coverage so any claims made may not represent the full value of the item plus shipping. The specific item or combination of items you’re purchasing will determine which shipping options are available during checkout. We ship Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM CST, major holidays and severe weather events excluded.

Nitromethane

Our 53-gallon drums of nitromethane are shipped via LTL freight and require a DHS registration number, explosives permit and your photo identification. We will contact you after you’ve placed your order to get this information from you and to arrange delivery.

However, our quarts, gallons, and 42-gallon drums of nitromethane do not require a DHS registration number, explosives permit or photo identification.

Fuel Pails

When purchased in quantities of 3 or less (depending on destination), our 5-gallon fuel pails will ship via UPS Ground and have a flat-rate hazmat shipping fee, which is currently $54.25 for each pail. If you're ordering 4 or more pails, it becomes more cost-effective to ship via LTL freight. This is automatically calculated for you during checkout and you'll be shown the best, most cost-effective shipping options based on the items you're purchasing and their destination.

Kegs, Drums, & IBC Totes

Orders that include 1 or more of our kegs, drums, or IBC Totes will ship via LTL freight. Based on the specific items in your order and their destination, we check shipping rates from over 20 different carriers and present you with the best, most cost-effective shipping option during checkout.

Local Pickup

If you are in or near Houston, TX, you can save on shipping costs and pick up your items from our retail store located at 7268 Renwick Drive Houston TX 77081. Simply select “Pick Up” for the delivery method during checkout.

We will contact you by phone or email as soon as your order is ready. You can pick up your order from our office space and retail store, which is located behind the gated area of U-Haul, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM CST, or Saturday by appointment only. It's best to call first to let us prepare your order and have it ready for your arrival. Please pre-order drums. We can load drums, kegs, or pails into your vehicle or trailer for you.

Processing Time

Nearly all orders placed by 3PM CST, Monday through Friday (other than official holidays or severe weather events), will ship the same day or within 24 hours. Orders placed after 3PM CST on Friday or during the weekend will ship on the next business day. During severe weather events or other peak holiday shipping periods, please understand our processing and response time may be delayed.

Shipping Delays

Please note that our shipping partners, at times, can experience shipping delays. We will do everything we possibly can to make sure your order arrives at its destination as soon as possible. However, once a package ships, there can be factors outside of our control that may come up.

As a policy, we do not offer refunds for delays caused by one of our shipping partners. That said, we know how important it is for your items to be delivered on time and we will do everything possible to make sure that happens.

Delivery Dates

While we have control over when we ship your order out (unless there's severe weather), we trust our shipping partners to get it to its final destination, but we can’t in good conscience guarantee a delivery date. If your order is shipping via UPS or USPS, an estimated delivery date will be shown during checkout.

Order Status

You will receive an order confirmation email within a few minutes of placing your order. You will then receive another email with a tracking number once the order has shipped so you can keep a close eye on the status of your order.

Delivery Area

Fuels, alcohols, lubricants and larger orders that ship via UPS or LTL Freight can be delivered to the Contiguous United States (Lower 48) only. Most apparel and accessories, however, can also be delivered to Alaska or Hawaii. PO Boxes

Unfortunately, we do not deliver to PO Boxes.

Return Policy

We do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. For all other items, we have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. You can read our full return policy here.
